Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its first all-electric car, the B-Class Electric Drive at the 2013 New York International Auto Show. The five-door hatchback is powered by an electric motor that generates more than 100 kW of power and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. The car has a lithium-ion battery pack fitted in the vehicle’s underfloor that gives it a range of up to 115 miles.
The B-Class Electric Drive accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in less than ten seconds and has a limited top speed of 100 mph.
